LONGWALL HYDRAULICS FIRST MONORAIL CONTRACT

Longwall Hydraulics is proud to announce the sale of our first longwall monorail system in Australia to Gujarat NRE No.1 mine. The sale includes both a Longwall Hydraulics monorail system and pump system for the new longwall.
The Longwall Hydraulics monorail system is supported by our international partners including Swanson Industries. Swanson is the leading supplier of monorails in the USA with 48 systems in operation.  Our local partners include Pirtek, whose hose package is included in the system.

Longwall Hydraulics will be working closely with JOY Manufacturing, the principal supplier for the NRE Gujarat Longwall Contract.

The sale marks a new chapter for Longwall Hydraulics as the only supplier in Australia able to offer a complete monorail and pump station package. The benefits of one supplier for these two systems include:

• One contract for supply
• Integrated system design through to the BSL
• Clear areas of responsibility
• One point of contact for monorail and pumps service and spares

Our  monorail product range now being offered to the Australian Market includes;

• A proven Development Monorail System
• MMPS – Monorail Mounted Pump System
• Weinhold High Pressure Pipe for longwall applications

The new monorail system will be supported from our expanded Wollongong operation, which features a specialised hydraulic overhaul workshop and 20t overhead crane.
